The Grey Longbo RFS-30 radio frequency wave knife uses 4.0M radio frequency technology to achieve low-temperature cutting and coagulation functions. Compared to ordinary high-frequency electric knives, it causes very little thermal damage to pets during surgery, leading to faster recovery post-operation. More importantly, since most pets have fur on their bodies, using a high-frequency electric knife often requires preparing the skin for the negative electrode plate. This is where the advantages of the radio frequency wave knife become apparent. The radio frequency wave knife uses a capacitive electrode plate, which does not need to be closely adhered to the skin, meaning the electrode plate does not require skin preparation. This brings great convenience to pet surgeries, and thus it is increasingly favored by doctors.
The degree of burn on human skin mainly depends on temperature and time. Generally, a temperature of over 70°C can cause instant burns to the human body, meaning that when the skin comes into contact with a temperature of 70°C or higher, it will be instantly damaged. If the human body is in continuous contact with objects above 50°C, it will also be burned. Damage to tissues at temperatures ranging from 40-49°C is reversible; damage to tissues at temperatures above 50°C is irreversible; temperatures between 40-70°C are conducive to tissue biopsy; when the temperature exceeds 100°C, tissues will rapidly dry out and even carbonize. The working principle of high-frequency surgical equipment at radio frequency levels determines that it will not cause tissue carbonization during operation. It utilizes radio frequency electromagnetic waves, causing tissue cells to rapidly oscillate under the influence of the electromagnetic field, colliding with cell walls to cause them to rupture, thus achieving the purpose of cutting. The electric knife itself does not generate heat and is considered low-temperature cutting, with the temperature in the surgical area not exceeding 70°C.
